The Best 14 Recipes in 2014

The Best of 2014

I enjoy the exercise of looking back over the year and reviewing all that has happened, either relishing in the good fortunes or longing to reverse the difficulties encountered.  The reality is that it’s how you’ve handled both the good AND the bad that makes up the overall net effect.  Looking back gives you perspective too.  It often shows you that with small, seemingly meaningless steps, over time you may have accomplished a lot more than you think.  That is the rewarding part and provides even more motivation to keep going or on the other hand, it may be a sign to make a few little course corrections to improve the outcome down the road.

I’ve certainly enjoyed blogging this year.  It has been a fun new adventure providing me with a new vehicle with which to share nourishing ways to live and eat healthier. I’m going to keep it going because you’ve been so appreciative and there is so much more to share . . . plus it’s so fun!  I’ve put together my year in review with 14 of my most popular posts in 2014!  Enjoy celebrating the end of 2014 with the hope of new opportunities in 2015.  I have so much to look forward to and can’t wait to share it with all of you.

    Hi Cousin,
Happy New Year! I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your blog. I have made several things and they are delish! I even taught how to make your granola in Relief Society class. I of course shared your blog and printed it with the recipe. I tell everyone about your fabulous blog. Please don’t ever stop! Love you and all my happy Clifford memories! Hugs, Jane

Hi Karen, Not sure you remember me but I was in Medical Dietetics with you at BYU. I just figured out that you were BYU QB Mom! Wow! He is doing awesome, but that does not surprise me with you as a mother. My daughter is in Provo and her really good friends are from Eagle….Ryler Despain, Jordan Evans, Eli and Michael. Your blog is impressive. You have done a lot with dietetics. I have not so much. Just with my family etc. All your recipes look so yummy. Well, just wanted to say hi and we are cheering for Tanner.

This is so nice of you to check in with me. Isn’t it such a small world that your daughter is tight with Eagle friends? Jordan is my cousin’s son! Although you say you didn’t do anything with your degree, you probably taught your kids how to eat right which is pretty cool!! Take Care, Karen
