Sometimes a tasty smoothie is all you’re looking for in the morning. I love the combination of sweet fruit and almond butter in this drink with the added bonus of ground flax seed.
Mother’s Day Morning Glory Protein Smoothie
- Mother's Day Morning Glory Protein Smoothie
- 1 banana
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 Tbsp ground flax meal
- 1/2 cup Greek light vanilla yogurt (like Dannon Light ‘n Fit Greek)
- 2 tsp agave nectar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice
- Put all of the ingredients plus 1/2 cup ice cubes in to a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
